152fmh Engine Service Manual (2024-2026)
The carburetor mixes air and fuel for combustion. If the engine runs poorly, a carburetor adjustment may be in order.
Regular maintenance is essential to prevent reduced efficiency and catastrophic failure. Engine Oil
Slide the cylinder head over the studs. Torque the four main head nuts in a across 3 stages to a final value of 12 Nm (9 ft-lbs) . 152fmh engine service manual
Drain the engine oil and remove the exhaust system, carburetor, and spark plug.
Lubricate the piston skirts and cylinder wall with clean 4-stroke engine oil. The carburetor mixes air and fuel for combustion
Unscrew the brass main jet (center) and the recessed pilot/slow jet.
AC Ignition Power Source (Sends high-voltage power from the stator source coil to the CDI module). Engine Oil Slide the cylinder head over the studs
Perform the first oil change on a brand-new engine after 5 hours of operation (break-in period). Subsequently, change the oil every 20–25 hours of riding or every 500 miles.
Insert a T-handle wrench into the center hole. Rotate the flywheel counterclockwise until the "T" mark aligns perfectly with the index notch in the top inspection window.
AC Charging Output (Feeds into the regulator/rectifier for battery charging). Ignition Circuit Diagnosis
One of the most overlooked specs. The magnetic trigger on the flywheel must pass within 0.3mm to 0.5mm of the pickup coil. Too far, no spark. Too close, the flywheel eats the coil. The manual includes a feeler gauge diagram for this exact task.
